OpenFrame AI that stays on your computer.

OpenFrame AI is optional. After a one-time download of about 1.2 GB it runs on your computer, answers questions about your project, and suggests changes. Nothing changes until you press Apply.

Ask about your project in plain words

Open OpenFrame AI with Ctrl+J, or Cmd+J on the Mac, and ask. It searches the project and answers with the sources behind See sources, so you can check every claim.

  • Works in Idea Vault, Story, Screenplay, Breakdown and Production
  • Answers in the language of your question; English is the best tested

It proposes. You decide.

When you ask for a change, OpenFrame AI shows one set of Proposed Changes. Read it, then apply it or reject it. Applied changes can be undone like any other.

  • Never changes a project without your Apply
  • Never reads other people's private notes or the Story page

Good to know

  • A one-time download of about 1.2 GB.
  • The chat model needs 4 GB of memory at minimum; 8 GB is recommended.
  • Quality is measured against a fixed test set in English. Other languages work but are weaker today.
  • It does not handle licences or payments.

Windows and Mac

  • On Windows it runs on the processor, or on the graphics card when your computer supports it.
  • On the Mac it uses the graphics of Apple silicon.

OpenFrame AI can read across the project and propose scenes, cards, characters, catalog items, notes, tasks, schedule changes and shots. Every proposal goes through you.
