OpenFrame AI

Ask for a change and read the Proposed Changes card

Ask OpenFrame AI to prepare a change, read what it would do and reject it if it is not what you want.

Intermediate3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • OpenFrame AI panel is open and says AI Ready.

Steps

  1. Type a request that changes something, for example Create a task to scout the railway station., and click Send.

The answer reads I prepared a task. Nothing has been added yet. Under it is the Proposed Changes card. Nothing in your project has changed so far.

  2. Read the Proposed Changes card from top to bottom.

The title says what kind of change it is, here Proposed task. Affected areas names the part of OpenFrame it would touch, here Notes & Tasks. The rows below show the exact content, here Task: Scout the railway station. Impact says how much, here 1 new object. The last line says 1 change, applied together as one step you can undo. If any part fails, nothing is changed. Reject and Apply Changes are the two buttons under the card.

  3. Click Reject if the card is not what you want.

The buttons go away and the panel says Rejected. Nothing was changed. You can ask again with more detail, for example the due date or a name.

What you get

You saw exactly what OpenFrame AI wanted to change, and nothing was added to your project.

Watch out for

  • OpenFrame AI can only prepare changes. It cannot apply them. Nothing happens until you click Apply Changes.
  • A card can turn out of date if you edit the project after it was prepared. It then reads Proposed Changes (out of date), Apply Changes is replaced by Re-check & Review, and you can only reject it or check it again against the current project.
