OpenFrame AIReview a proposal that deletes something
Read a deletion proposal carefully, confirm it only when it is exactly what you want and know how to get the items back.
Before you start
- OpenFrame AI panel is open.
Steps
Ask for a deletion, for example Delete all the scenes in the screenplay.
OpenFrame AI does not delete anything. It answers I prepared this change. Nothing has been changed yet. and shows a Proposed Changes card titled Proposed scene deletion.
Read the Delete row, Its text, Other drafts and Items.
Affected areas says Screenplay. Delete names what would go. Its text says how much text it holds, here 16 lines. Other drafts says Not changed. Items repeats the list of what is affected. Compare this list with what you asked for. In the picture you asked for every scene and the card lists only Scene 1: EXT. RAYAPURAM BUS STAND - DAY, so check the list before you apply.
Click Reject if the list is wrong. Click Apply Changes only if it is exactly right.
Because the change deletes items, Apply Changes first opens a confirmation titled Apply changes that delete items? It says that deleted items go to Recently Deleted and that you can use Undo to reverse the whole change. Confirm with Apply Changes, or cancel.
What you get
You know what a deletion would remove, and you can undo it or restore the items.
Watch out for
- After a deletion is applied, open Recently Deleted to restore an item, or use Undo (Ctrl+Z) to reverse the whole change.
- Never apply a deletion card you have not read. OpenFrame AI can misunderstand a request, and the card is where you catch it.
