OpenFrame AIOpen and close OpenFrame AI
Show OpenFrame AI panel beside your work and hide it again.
Before you start
- A project is open.
Steps
Look at the toolbar. Find the Assistant button between New and Settings.
The picture shows Project Home with OpenFrame AI closed. Your workspace uses the whole width of the window.
Click Assistant. You can also press Command+J.
OpenFrame AI panel opens at the right and the workspace narrows to make room. Project Home is shown here, but the panel opens beside any workspace.
Look at the panel header. It has the name OpenFrame AI, the status Off, a Settings menu and Close.
Off means OpenFrame AI is not running. The body of the panel tells you why, see Read the message when AI is not available.
Click Close at the top right of the panel.
The panel closes and the workspace takes the full width again. Closing the panel never changes your project.
What you get
The panel opens and closes on demand, and your workspace is unchanged either way.
Watch out for
- The panel is a side panel, not a separate window. Close it when you want the full width of the workspace back.
