OpenFrame AICheck what an answer is based on
Open See sources to see how sure the answer is and which parts of your project it used.
Before you start
- You have an answer in the panel.
Steps
Click See sources under the answer.
The link opens a small section under the answer. Click it again to fold it away.
Read the lines under See sources.
The first line says how the answer was made. Inferred · written by Offline AI means OpenFrame AI wrote the sentence from what it found. Exact · from project data means the answer is a figure or list taken straight from the project. Not available in project data means the project does not hold it. Under Based on: are chips such as Character: LAKSHMI, Character: VENKAT RAO, Character: FAROOQ and Character: PADMA. Most chips are buttons: click one to open that item in your project.
Ask a question that needs several places, for example Which locations are used in the screenplay?
The Scope here is Current Screenplay. Read the whole answer before you trust it. In the picture, the first lines name Rayapuram Bus Stand, Venkat Radio Works and Pedda Revu Tower, and the lines after them repeat the tower in different places.
Open See sources and compare the answer with the chips.
Based on lists Scene locations: THE TOWER AT PEDDA REVU, then Location: Pedda Revu tower, Location: Rayapuram bus stand and Location: Venkat Radio Works. Those are the real records. Click a chip to open it and check, and ignore sentences that the sources do not support. An answer that took several steps also lists the steps it ran here.
What you get
You know which records an answer came from, and you can open them to check.
Watch out for
- Offline AI can write a sentence that sounds right and is not. The Based on chips are the part to trust. When a sentence does not match them, check the screenplay or ask again with a narrower Scope.
- A long list shows its first eight rows with a Show all button. Click it to see every row.
