Project window and navigationUse the project menu to switch or close a project
Open another recent project, reach the project pages, or return to all your projects.
Before you start
- A project is open.
Steps
Click the project name at the top left of the window.
Its tooltip says the menu switches or manages projects.
Read the menu from the top.
RECENT PROJECTS lists your projects. The open one has a tick and says Open, the others show type and status. Click another project to switch to it. EDIT shows Undo, named after the last change (for example Undo Added 2 files, Ctrl+Z), and Redo (Ctrl+Y). Then come Project settings, Notes & Tasks, Activity, Recently Deleted, Templates and Appearance. SHARE / EXCHANGE has Export Review Package (script)…, Beat Board Package…, Import Exchange Package…, Open Review Package…, Review Queue and Import & Export History. BACKUP & PORTABILITY has Create Backup…, Export Full Project… and Open Project Package…. The last three items are All projects…, Archived… and Close project.
Choose All projects… or Close project to go back to Application Home. Choose Archived… to go straight to archived projects.
The same menu opened from another project, here Empty Short, shows the same items. The project you have open is the one with the tick. Packages and backups are covered in the Backups, packages and exchange tutorials.
What you get
You can switch projects, reach the project pages and return to Application Home from one menu.
Watch out for
- Redo is greyed out until you undo something.
