Project window and navigationFind your way around a project
See what each part of the project window is for, and what is on the project's Home page.
Before you start
- A project is open.
Steps
Look across the top bar, from left to right.
You see the OpenFrame logo, the project name with its type, the search box, then the + Create button, the Back and Forward arrows, OpenFrame AI, the settings gear and your avatar. The logo takes you back to all your projects.
Look at the left rail.
The rail lists Home, Idea Vault, Story, Screenplay, Breakdown, Production, Call Sheets and Files. Click one to go to that section. The current section is highlighted. The note at the bottom reads Project stored locally on this PC.
Read the project's Home page.
The title and line under it show the type and when you last opened the project. CONTINUE offers Continue screenplay, which opens your script where you left off. QUICK ACCESS has one-click buttons to Idea Vault, Beat Board, Screenplay, Breakdown, Production, Call Sheets, Notes & Tasks, Activity, Recently Deleted and Templates. RECENT lists what changed lately and who changed it.
Look at the three panels on the right.
PRODUCTION STATUS counts your Screenplay drafts, Screenplay scenes, Breakdown items, Locations, Shots, Shooting days and Call sheets, and has an Open Production button. PROJECT FILES lists recent files with their type and size, with Add File and Open Files. TASKS shows how many are open, their due dates, and Open Notes & Tasks.
