Project window and navigation

Go back and forward between pages

Return to the page you were just on, and come forward again.

Beginner3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • You have visited more than one page in the project.

Steps

  1. After you move from one page to another, for example from Home to Call Sheets, the Back arrow in the top bar becomes available. Click it, or press Alt+Left.

The tooltip reads Back (Alt+Left). While you have not gone back, the Forward arrow is greyed out.

  2. After you have gone back, both arrows can be available, as on the Files page here. Click Forward, or press Alt+Right, to go the other way.

The tooltip reads Forward (Alt+Right). The arrows work like the back and forward buttons of a web browser.

  3. Go back as far as the first page. Back greys out and only Forward stays available.

Here the project's Home page is the first page, so there is nothing before it.

What you get

You can retrace your steps without using the left rail.
