Project window and navigation

Change the project status

Mark where the project is in its life, from Idea to Shooting.

Beginner3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A project is open on its Home page.

Steps

  1. Click the status chip at the top right of Home, which reads Idea in the example.

The chip has a small arrow. Its label says Change status.

  2. Choose a status.

The menu lists Idea, Development, Writing, Rewrite, Shooting Draft, Pre-Production, Shoot Preparation and Shooting, then Archived. The status shows on the project's card on Application Home too.

  3. Read the message at the bottom of the window.

It says Changed project status to Development, with an Undo button. Click Undo in the message to put it back, or ignore it. The x closes the message.

What you get

The chip shows the new status.

Watch out for

  • Archived is in this list too. See Archive and restore a project from its Home page.
