Shooting scheduleUse the day menu: insert, duplicate, set as off day and delete
Reach every action for a shooting day from the ... button on its header.
Before you start
- At least one shooting day exists.
Steps
Click the ... button on a day header. It is labelled with the day, for example Shoot Day 1 actions.
The menu lists Open day details, Edit date, then ADD TO THIS DAY with Meal Break, Travel, Company Move and Custom Note, then Set as Off Day, Add Day Note, Insert day after, Duplicate day (breaks and notes only), Open Call Sheet and, in red, Delete day. Set as Off Day is greyed out while the day has scenes.
Open the menu on a day that has no scenes, for example Shoot Day 4.
Set as Off Day is now available. Where a day has a call sheet the menu says Open Call Sheet, and where it has none it says Create Call Sheet. Add Day Note opens the day page, where the Day notes box is.
Choose Insert day after to add a day right after this one, or Duplicate day (breaks and notes only) to copy its breaks and notes into a new day.
Insert day after opens the Create Shooting Day dialog and places the new day after the day you chose. Duplicate day copies the breaks and notes only. It does not copy scenes, so the copy starts empty. Each shows a message with Undo.
To remove a day, choose Delete day.
There is no extra confirmation. The message reads Deleted Shoot Day 4; its scenes returned to Unscheduled with Undo. The scenes are not deleted: they go back to the Unscheduled pool.
What you get
You can add, copy, convert or delete days from one menu.
Watch out for
- Use Undo straight away if you delete the wrong day.
- Scenes from a deleted day return to Unscheduled, so check the board afterwards to see where they need to go.
