Shooting schedule

Set, change or clear the date of a day

Give a day a date, move it to another date or take its date away.

Beginner3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A shooting day exists.

Steps

  1. Open the ... menu on the day header and choose Edit date. On the day page you can click Edit date instead. On the Calendar, click Set date of Shoot Day N under Not yet dated.

All three open the same dialog.

  2. In the dialog Edit date of Shoot Day 1, choose the new date, then click Save date.

Shooting date holds the current date. Clear date, at the bottom left, removes the date and appears only when the day has one. Cancel and Close leave the date as it was. A day that has a call sheet shows a note: Changing the date marks this day's call sheet as needing a refresh. The call sheet itself is not rewritten.

  3. Do the same for a day without a call sheet, for example Shoot Day 4.

The dialog is the same without the call sheet note, because there is no call sheet to refresh.

What you get

The day has its new date, and the board, list and calendar show it. The message reads, for example, Rescheduled Shoot Day 1.

Watch out for

  • A call sheet made before the date change shows Needs refresh. Open it from the day and refresh it. See the Call sheets tutorials.
