Call sheets

Find a call sheet in the list

Narrow the list by text and by status, and show older revisions when you need them.

Beginner9 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • The project has at least one call sheet.

Steps

  1. Open Call Sheets in the left rail.

Each row shows the shoot day, the date, a status chip (Draft, Needs refresh or Final) and the revision, for example v1. The status is always written as a word, not only shown as a colour.

  2. Click the Search box and type part of a day, a date or a status, for example Day 2.

The list narrows as you type. Search looks at the day name, the date and the status. In the picture, Day 2 leaves only Shoot Day 2.

  3. If nothing matches, the table says No matching call sheets.

Check the spelling or clear the box. The picture shows zzzz, which matches nothing.

  4. Click Draft to see only sheets you are still preparing.

The filter buttons All, Draft, Needs refresh and Final work together with the Search box. The active button is dark. In the picture none of the sheets is a draft, so the table has no rows. Click All to see everything again.

  5. Click Final.

If no sheet is final yet, the table says No matching call sheets. Finalize a sheet to see it here.

  6. After you have started a new revision, look at the list.

Only the newest revision of a day is listed. In the picture, Shoot Day 4 shows as v2 and the older final version is hidden.

  7. Tick Show replaced revisions to see the older ones too.

The replaced revision appears as its own row, here Shoot Day 4 v1 with a Final chip and the note (replaced by a newer revision). Untick the box to hide it again.

  8. Click Needs refresh to see the sheets whose schedule has changed since you prepared them.

The filter works with Show replaced revisions. In the picture the box is ticked and only sheets marked Needs refresh remain.

  9. Click Final to see the finished sheets.

With Show replaced revisions ticked, a replaced final sheet is listed here too. Double-click a row, or click Open, to open it.

What you get

You see just the call sheets you were looking for.

Watch out for

  • A replaced revision is hidden until you tick Show replaced revisions. It has not been deleted.
