Call sheetsUnderstand why a call sheet cannot be created
Know what the Create Call Sheet dialog is telling you when it offers no day to choose.
Before you start
- The Call Sheets page is open.
Steps
In a project with no call sheets, read the empty page and click Create Call Sheet.
The page says Create a call sheet from a shooting day. You can use the button in the middle of the page or the one at the top right. Both open the same dialog.
If the dialog says Create a shooting schedule and a shooting day first., click Open Schedule.
The project has no shooting schedule yet, so there is nothing to build a call sheet from. Open Schedule closes the dialog and takes you to the schedule, where you create the schedule and its shooting days. Create Call Sheet stays greyed out until a day exists. Come back to Call Sheets afterwards.
If the dialog says Every shooting day already has a call sheet. Open it from the list to update it., click Cancel.
Each shooting day has one call sheet at a time. The picture shows a project where Shoot Day 1 to Shoot Day 4 all have one. Open the sheet you want from the list. To add a new day, add it in the schedule first.
What you get
You know whether to build the schedule, add a shooting day or open an existing call sheet.
Watch out for
- Create Call Sheet in the dialog is greyed out in both of these cases. That is expected, not a fault.
