Create a call sheet from a shooting day

Steps

1. Click Call Sheets in the left rail, then click Create Call Sheet at the top right.

   The list shows the call sheets you already have. In the picture, Shoot Day 1 and Shoot Day 2 have sheets. The new one will be for a day that does not.

2. The Create Call Sheet dialog opens. Look at the Source shooting day * box.

   The box is a list of the shooting days that do not yet have a call sheet, for example Shoot Day 3 · Wed 11 Nov 2026. Days that already have one, and off days, are not offered. Under it, WILL BE FILLED IN AUTOMATICALLY lists what OpenFrame brings over: the title, date, day number and day times, the scene schedule with start times, meals and travel rows, the talent with their cast ID numbers, the locations with address, parking and access, and extras, department notes, the advance schedule and crew when the project has them. A note says You add call times, weather and day-specific notes. Anything nobody has entered reads Needs input.

3. Open the Source shooting day * list and choose the day, for example Shoot Day 4 · Thu 12 Nov 2026.

   The dialog stays the same. Only the chosen day changes. Cancel, or the x at the top right, closes the dialog and creates nothing.

4. Click Create Call Sheet.

   The dialog closes, a message at the bottom says Created a call sheet from the shooting day with an Undo button, and the new draft opens in the editor.

5. Look at the draft.

   It is titled for the day, for example Call Sheet: Day 4, with a Draft chip. The scenes, cast, locations and the lunch and wrap times are already there. Fields that nobody has filled in read Needs input in red, and the Source panel counts them, for example 12 values read Needs input.
