Call sheetsSet the call times and the production details
Fill in the crew call and the other times, the title and the production block.
Before you start
- A draft call sheet is open.
Steps
Click the large Crew call box in the tinted band and type the time, for example 07:00.
The box reads Needs input until you type something. Crew call is the only value OpenFrame insists on before you finalize. Type the time in whatever form your crew uses.
Fill in General call, Shooting call and Breakfast if they apply.
These start empty. Lunch and Est. wrap come from the schedule when it has them, for example 13:00 and 13:45, and you can overwrite them. They are the times printed at the top of the PDF.
Check the production title at the top of the paper and change it if you want a different name on the sheet.
The title box shows the project name, here NIGHT BUS. If you empty it, it reads Needs input. Changing it affects only this call sheet.
Under PRODUCTION, fill in Production company, Production address, Producer, Director, 1st AD and Production contact.
All six start empty and are optional. They do not read Needs input, so you can leave out what does not apply.
What you get
The times and the production block are ready, and Crew call no longer reads Needs input.
Watch out for
- Finalize refuses to continue while Crew call is empty. See Finalize a call sheet.
- The Estimated wrap and Lunch times you see come from the schedule at the moment the sheet was made. Use Refresh from schedule if the schedule changes.
