Idea VaultSwitch between Grid, Card, List and Folder
See the same items in the layout that suits the job.
Before you start
- The vault has items.
Steps
Click Grid at the top right.
Grid shows compact tiles in rows, with pinned items first. It is best for scanning many items.
Click Card.
Card shows larger cards, so pictures are bigger and more of a note is readable.
Click List.
List shows one row per item with NAME, TYPE, COLLECTION, TAGS, ADDED and MODIFIED. A pinned item has a pin mark and a flag shows next to the name.
Click Folder.
Folder view shows your folders as cards, with the number of items in each, followed by the items that are not in any folder under the heading ITEMS IN THIS FOLDER. A path above the items, for example All items, shows where you are.
Click a folder card, for example Locations.
The path now reads All items then Locations, and only the items inside show. Click All items in the path to go back up.
What you get
You can look at the vault in any of the four layouts. OpenFrame remembers your choice.
Watch out for
- The view only changes how items are shown. It never moves or changes an item.
