Application Home

Use the project card menu

Open, duplicate, find on disk or change the cover of a project from its card.

Beginner4 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A project card is on Application Home.

Steps

  1. Right-click a project card. The same menu opens as with the ... button.

The menu lists Open, Rename (F2), Duplicate Project, Pin, Change cover photo…, Reveal in File Manager, Archive and Delete Project…. Archive and Delete Project… sit below a divider at the bottom.

  2. Choose Open to open the project, or Duplicate Project to make a copy of it.

Duplicate Project is useful before a big change to a script or plan. Rename, Pin, Archive and Delete Project… have their own workflows.

  3. Choose Change cover photo… to pick a picture for the top of the card in the Windows window that opens.

Cards show a coloured cover. A cover photo of your own makes projects easier to tell apart.

  4. Choose Reveal in File Manager to see the project in Windows File Explorer.

Use this when you want to copy the project to a drive. Do not rename or delete the folder by hand. Use OpenFrame for that.

What you get

You can reach every action for a project from its card.

Watch out for

  • Rename, archive and delete from OpenFrame, not in File Explorer, so the project list stays correct.
