Application Home

Archive a project to tidy your list

Hide a project from the main list without deleting it.

Beginner4 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A project card is on Application Home.

Steps

  1. Click the ... button on the project you want to hide.

Use Archive for projects you are finished with for now, or have paused.

  2. Click Archive.

Archive keeps everything on your computer. Delete Project… is the other, permanent choice, covered in its own workflow.

  3. Read the message: “Empty Short” was archived. It is not deleted; find it under Open Archived.

The card disappears from the list and the button at the right now reads Open Archived (1). The number counts your archived projects.

  4. If you archive every project, the page shows no cards and a button reading Open Archived (2), or the number you have.

Click Open Archived to see them. They are all still on your computer.

What you get

The project no longer shows in your main list, and it is safe in the archive.

Watch out for

  • Archiving does not delete anything. If a project seems to have vanished, click Open Archived.
