Application HomeRename a project
Change the title shown for a project.
Before you start
- A project card is on Application Home.
Steps
Click the ... button on the card of the project you want to rename.
The ... button is in the top right corner of each card. You can also right-click the card.
Click Rename. You can also select a card and press F2.
The card menu has Open, Rename (F2), Duplicate Project, Pin, Change cover photo…, Reveal in File Manager, Archive and Delete Project…. Delete Project… is shown in red.
The Rename Project dialog opens with the current title in the Title * box. Edit the title.
The dialog says: Renaming changes the name shown everywhere. The project folder and its contents stay where they are.
If you delete the whole title, A title is required. appears and Rename is greyed out. Type a title again.
A project must always have a title.
Type the new title, for example Quiet Short, and click Rename.
Cancel closes the dialog and keeps the old name.
Look for the message at the bottom: Renamed to “Quiet Short”.
The card now shows the new title. Click the x or Dismiss to close the message early.
What you get
The project card shows its new title.
Watch out for
- Renaming changes only the name OpenFrame shows. The project folder and its contents stay where they are.
