Screenplay

Zoom the page in and out

Make the script larger or smaller on screen without changing how it prints.

Beginner3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A screenplay is open.

Steps

  1. Click the minus button at the left of the zoom value.

Its tooltip says Zoom out (Ctrl+wheel). Each click makes the page smaller. The picture shows 50 percent, where more of the script is visible at once.

  2. Click the plus button to zoom in.

Its tooltip says Zoom in (Ctrl+wheel). The picture shows 200 percent, which is easier to read on a small screen. The buttons stop at the smallest and largest zoom.

  3. Click the zoom value, for example 50%, to go back to 100%.

Its tooltip says Reset the page zoom. You can also hold Ctrl and turn the mouse wheel over the page, or pinch on a touchpad. Zoom changes the page on screen only.

What you get

The page is at the size you want. Printing and export are not affected.
