ScreenplayShow page, note and revision columns in the scene list
Add columns to the scene list so you can see page numbers, note counts, revision changes and production numbers.
Before you start
- The scene list is showing.
Steps
Click the columns button at the top of the scene list.
Its tooltip says Show or hide columns. The menu offers Page, Notes, Revision and Production number.
Click Page, then open the menu again and click Notes.
A tick marks the columns that are on. Revision is labelled (revision drafts only) and Production number is labelled (none yet), because those columns have nothing to show until the script has a revision or production numbers.
Look at the scene list.
The list widens and gains a header row: #, Heading, Page and Notes. The Page column shows the page each scene starts on. The Notes column shows how many notes the scene has.
What you get
The scene list shows the columns you chose.
Watch out for
- The Revision column fills in only when you are in a revision. See Review what changed in a revision.
