ScreenplayReview what changed in a revision
See the changed scenes and pages of a revision, with marks on the page and a Revision column in the scene list.
Before you start
- You have started a revision of a locked draft.
Steps
Click Revisions in the toolbar while the locked draft is open.
The drawer is headed SCREENPLAY, Revisions, with REVISION HISTORY. It says No revisions yet before you start one. The locked draft is listed as Locked with the date and baseline, with an Open button. Start Revision begins a revision from it. A note says only the project owner can reverse the lock, and a button under it does that for the owner.
Open a revision and turn on the Revision column in the scene list.
The column is headed Rev. and tags changed scenes as New, Changed or Moved, for example Changed on scene 1. Use the columns button to turn it on.
Click Revisions to see the history.
The revision, for example Revision A · Pink, is marked Current revision with an Open button. The locked draft stays listed below it. CHANGED SCENES IN REVISION A lists the changed scenes, for example Sc 1, the changed pages compared with the locked pages, and a summary such as 1 changed · 0 added · 0 removed · 0 moved.
Choose Page view and turn on Show revision marks.
Changed lines have an asterisk in the margin. The title page shows the revision label and the revision date.
What you get
You can see every scene and page a revision changed.
Watch out for
- Revision marks and the asterisk on printed pages follow the Mark revised lines with an asterisk option in Page setup.
