Export a revision-marked script

Export the pages of a revision with its changes marked, or as a clean script.

Intermediate3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • You are in a revision. See Make a change to a locked draft with a revision.

Steps

  1. Click Export in the toolbar.

The Draft to export is the revision, for example Revision A (current). The SOURCE section also shows the revision label and colour, for example Revision A · Pink Revision.

  2. Under SCOPE, choose Revision-marked version.

This marks the revised lines. Clean script gives the same pages with no marks. Revision info is a separate option for the revision details.

  3. Click Export…, or Preview… to check the pages first.

You can export a locked draft the same way. Locked drafts can be read and exported freely.

What you get

The exported pages show the revision, or are a clean script if you chose that.

Watch out for

  • Mark revised lines with an asterisk in Page setup controls whether revised lines carry an asterisk.
