ScreenplayExport only some scenes
Send a few scenes, for example the pages for one day, rather than the whole script.
Before you start
- The Export Screenplay dialog is open.
Steps
Under SCOPE, click Selected scenes.
Entire draft is the default. Selected scenes shows a list of every scene.
Read the scene list.
Each scene is listed with its number and heading, for example 1. EXT. RAYAPURAM BUS STAND - DAY. None is ticked when the list first opens.
Tick the scenes you want, for example scenes 1, 2 and 3.
Only the ticked scenes are exported. The format, Clean script, Title page and the other options work as before. Click Preview… to check the pages, then Export….
What you get
The file holds only the scenes you ticked.
Watch out for
- You can also choose Export Scene from the scene menu. It opens this dialog.
