ScreenplayRead the script as printed pages
See the title page and every page the way it will print, with revision marks if you want them.
Before you start
- A screenplay is open.
Steps
Click View and more and choose Page view.
The choice sits under Dark page.
Read the Page view drawer.
It is headed SCREENPLAY, Page view. A line shows the paper and the page count, for example US Letter · 16 pages. The title page comes first, then page 1 with scene numbers and the header and footer from Page setup. The switch Show revision marks is off.
In a revision, turn on Show revision marks.
Changed lines get an asterisk in the margin and the title page shows the revision label and date. See Review what changed in a revision. Click Close to leave the drawer.
What you get
You have checked the pages as they will print.
Watch out for
- Page view is for reading. To change the text, close it and edit in the editor.
