Screenplay

Zoom the page in and out

Make the page smaller to see more of it, or larger to read comfortably.

Beginner4 stepsMac

Before you start

  • A screenplay is open.

Steps

  1. Click Zoom Out in the second row of the bar until the value reads 50%.

At 50 percent you see much more of the page at once. The value button between Zoom Out and Zoom In shows the level.

  2. Click Zoom In to reach 150%.

The page is larger and the script reflows into a narrower view of the scene.

  3. Click Zoom In again to reach 200%, the largest level.

200 percent is the limit. At 50 percent the other end is reached. Zoom changes how the page looks on the screen only, not how it prints.

  4. Click the zoom value to return to 100%.

Its help text reads Zoom 100%, reset to 100 percent.

What you get

The page is shown at the size you want.

Watch out for

  • Printing and the PDF use the page setup, not the zoom.
