ScheduleAsk for grouping advice
See which scenes share a location, so you can reduce company moves.
Before you start
- The schedule has scenes with locations from the Breakdown.
Steps
Click Suggest Grouping in the toolbar.
The assistance panel opens on the right.
Click Ask for suggestion and read the card.
In the picture it says: Scenes 3, 4 and 6 all use the same location, names the location, and adds: You may reduce location changes by grouping them. It also says where most of them already are. The cards offer Apply manually and Dismiss.
Move the scenes yourself on the Board if you agree, or click Dismiss.
The panel says: Suggestions are advice. OpenFrame never rearranges your schedule silently. Close closes the panel.
What you get
You know which scenes could be shot together and have decided whether to regroup them.
Watch out for
- No scene moves unless you move it.
