ScheduleMove scenes into shooting days
Place scenes in the days you will shoot them, by dragging or from a menu.
Before you start
- The schedule has at least one shooting day and some unscheduled scenes.
Steps
Drag a strip from the Unscheduled column onto a day column.
Empty days say Drag scenes here. The strip leaves the pool and takes its place in the day.
Or click Actions on a strip and choose Move to, then pick a shooting day.
The strip menu has two items: Details… and Move to. Move to opens a list of days. Use it when dragging is awkward, for example with a long list.
Look at the Board after you move scenes.
A message confirms each move, for example Moved Scene 2 to Shoot Day 1, with Undo. The source bar now counts the scheduled and unscheduled scenes. A day shows how many scenes it holds. A warning triangle on a strip, and a number badge on its day, appear when the Schedule has a warning about it. In the picture the strips are coloured by scene type: interior night blue, exterior night green, exterior day yellow and interior day white.
What you get
The scenes sit in their days and the Unscheduled count goes down.
Watch out for
- The Schedule never moves a scene for you. Suggest Grouping gives advice and you place the scenes yourself.
- Click Undo in the message to take back a move.
