Add notes and links to a moodboard

Pin a written idea or a web reference to the board, and mark a note as internal.

Beginner4 stepsMac

Before you start

  • A moodboard is open.

Steps

  1. Click Add Note, then type your note in Note.

The sheet is titled Add note. A check box reads Internal note, left out of exports unless selected. Tick it for a note meant only for the team.

  2. Click Add Note in the sheet. Then click Add Link on the toolbar.

The note lands on the canvas, and a message says Added note. The Add link sheet has Web address and Title. The Title box suggests, for example, Reference: Memories of Murder.

  3. Fill in the link and add it. Then add a second note and tick the internal check box.

The board count at the top now says 2 items, and a message says Added link. The picture shows a note, Faces lit only by phone screens, with the internal box ticked.

  4. Look at the board.

Notes and links are tiles. A link tile shows its title and the site. An internal note is marked Internal note, left out of exports, and drawn in a different colour. The board's count reads 3 items.

What you get

The board carries your notes and links, with private ones marked internal.

Watch out for

  • Tick the internal box on a note that is only for the team. Internal notes are left out of exports unless you choose to include them.
