Idea Vault

Look at your ideas as a grid, cards, a list or folders

Change how the vault shows the same items.

Beginner4 stepsMac

Before you start

  • The vault has several items.

Steps

  1. Look at the vault in Grid, which is selected by default.

Each item is a tile with its text, its kind and the day it was added. The picture shows quotes, a link and notes. Links show the address and your note. The View switch is under Which Idea Vault.

  2. Click Card.

The items show as larger cards in the same order.

  3. Click List.

Each item is one row with a small icon for its kind, its text, its kind and day under it, and the day at the right. A link row shows the whole address. Use List to scan many items quickly.

  4. Click Folder.

The page shows All items as a path at the top, then your folders as tiles, then the items. With no folders yet you see only your items. See Create a folder and move an item into it.

What you get

You can read the vault in the way that suits the job.

Watch out for

  • The view changes only how items are shown. It never moves or changes an item.
