Call Sheets

Finalize a call sheet

Freeze the version you are about to send.

Intermediate3 stepsMac

Before you start

  • A draft call sheet is open and its call times are filled in.

Steps

  1. Check the Needs input count in the side panel, then click Finalize….

Fill in what you can first. Finalize… is the orange button below Refresh from schedule.

  2. Read the Finalize call sheet sheet.

It asks: Is this the version you are sending? It shows a summary, for example Night Bus · SHOOT DAY 1 · MONDAY 14 JUNE 2027 and Crew call 07:00 · 2 scenes · 2 cast. It says: Final freezes this document as a snapshot. Later schedule changes mark it for a new revision but never change the final version. A last line tells you how many values still read Needs input, for example 9 values still read Needs input.

  3. Click Finalize. Click Cancel instead to keep working on the draft.

The status changes to Final, the dashed outlines disappear and the message says Finalized the call sheet, with Undo. The side panel now shows Start New Revision and Export PDF, and a line such as Finalized 28 Oct at 08:32.

What you get

The call sheet is final. It is frozen and ready to export and send.

Watch out for

  • Click Undo in the message if you finalized too soon.
  • You can finalize with Needs input values left. The sheet tells you how many, so you can go back and fill them in first.
