BreakdownAdd a note to an element in a scene
Record a detail that applies to one element in one scene.
Before you start
- The scene has at least one element.
Steps
Click Actions on the element, then Edit notes….
The sheet is headed Notes: Kiran, for example. It says: Scene-specific notes for this element. The catalog item and the screenplay are not changed. It has a Notes box with Cancel and Save.
Type the note, for example Wears the school bag in every scene, and click Save.
Cancel closes the sheet without saving.
Look at the element row.
The note shows under the element name in the panel. The export has an Include element notes option, and private notes are never included. See Export the breakdown.
What you get
The note shows under the element in this scene only.
Watch out for
- A note belongs to the scene. It does not change the catalog item or the screenplay.
