Use the Actions menu on an element

Find an element in the script, see its scenes, open it in the catalog, add a note or remove it.

Beginner2 stepsMac

Before you start

  • The scene has at least one element.

Steps

  1. Click Actions on an element row.

The menu has Show in script, Show all scenes with this item, Open in Catalog and Edit notes…. Below a divider is Remove from scene. Show in script points to where the item is tagged in the script. Open in Catalog opens the item in the production catalog.

  2. Click the arrow beside a category heading, for example Cast, to collapse it.

The group shows only its heading and number, here Cast and 2, and the other groups stay open. Click the arrow again to expand it. This is a view change only.

What you get

You can reach every action for an element from its row.

Watch out for

  • The remaining items in the menu have their own workflows: notes, scenes using an item, and removing an element.
