Breakdown

Reuse an item from a nearby scene

Add an item that appears in neighbouring scenes to this scene with one click.

Beginner2 stepsMac

Before you start

  • Other scenes already have elements.

Steps

  1. Open a scene next to one you have worked on, for example scene 2.

Under Quick reuse from nearby scenes the panel lists buttons such as Kiran, Knocking, Uniform, Bag, Glass, Keys and Umbrella, each with the category colour and icon. Each button reads Reuse (name) in Scene 2.

  2. Click the item you want, for example Flickering monitor.

The item moves into the scene breakdown under its category and leaves the Quick reuse list. A message says Reused “Flickering monitor” in Scene 2, with Undo. The scene row gains its coloured dots.

What you get

The scene uses the same catalog item as the nearby scene, so it counts as one item everywhere.

Watch out for

  • Quick reuse offers items from nearby scenes only. For anything else, use Add Element and choose Use existing.
