Breakdown

Remove an element from a scene and undo it

Take an element out of one scene and bring it back if it was a mistake.

Beginner3 stepsMac

Before you start

  • The scene has at least one element.

Steps

  1. Click Actions on the element and choose Remove from scene.

The item is at the bottom of the menu, below a divider.

  2. Read the message.

It says, for example, Removed “Devi” from Scene 1. The catalog item is kept. The count of the category drops. The item stays in the production catalog and in other scenes.

  3. Click Undo in the message to bring the element back.

The element returns to its category and the count goes up again. Dismiss closes the message without undoing.

What you get

The element is removed from the scene, or restored if you chose Undo.

Watch out for

  • Remove from scene never deletes the catalog item. Use the message's Undo promptly, before the message goes away.
