Idea VaultDraw a sketch
Draw a rough picture and keep it as an image item.
Before you start
- The Idea Vault is open.
Steps
Click Add, then Sketch.
The New Sketch dialog says: Draw freely. It is saved as an image, with no transcription needed. There are three inks (Black ink, Red ink, Blue ink), three line widths (Fine, Medium, Bold), an Eraser and Clear. Name (optional) is at the bottom. Save Sketch stays greyed out until you draw something.
Draw on the white area with the mouse, a pen or touch. Choose another ink or width if you want, then click Save Sketch.
Click Eraser to rub out and click it again to go back to drawing. Clear wipes the whole page. Cancel closes without saving.
Open the saved sketch.
A sketch is stored as an image. The drawer has the picture, Open externally, Title, Caption and Source link. Here the sketch is called Rooftop sketch.
What you get
The sketch is in the vault as an image.
Watch out for
- A sketch cannot be edited after it is saved. Draw a new one if you want to change it.
