Storyboards

Delete a panel or a storyboard

Remove one panel, or a whole storyboard, with a way back.

Beginner3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A storyboard with panels is open.

Steps

  1. To delete one panel, right-click it and click Delete, or open its drawer and click Delete.

A message says Deleted panel with an Undo link. The remaining panels are renumbered.

  2. To delete the whole storyboard, click Storyboard actions and then Delete storyboard.

Delete storyboard is the red item at the bottom of the menu. Nothing is removed yet.

  3. Read the dialog Delete storyboard followed by its name, then click Delete Storyboard.

The dialog says how many panels go with it, that they go to Recently Deleted and can be restored, and that shots are not affected. Cancel keeps the storyboard.

What you get

The panel or storyboard is gone from the page and waits in Recently Deleted.

Watch out for

  • Deleting a storyboard does not delete the shots linked to its panels.
  • Click Undo in the message, or restore from Recently Deleted, if you delete something by mistake.
