Story and Beat BoardExport the Beat Board
Save the board as a PDF, a text file or a CSV list.
Before you start
- The Beat Board has content.
Steps
Click Export at the top right of the Board or Outline tab.
The Export Beat Board dialog starts with Source: current Beat Board. Under WHAT ARE YOU EXPORTING? choose Current page (whole Beat Board), Selected items only or Entire project. Under FORMAT choose PDF, Plain text or CSV. A line shows the suggested file name. OPTIONS has a Layout, Outline PDF or Board PDF, and ticks for Include Parking Lot, Include notes and Include comments.
Choose your options and click Export….
A note says Private notes excluded. Export creates a snapshot and does not change your project. Choose where to save the file in the Windows window that opens. Cancel closes the dialog.
What you get
The file is saved with the board as you chose.
Watch out for
- Selected items only uses the cards you have selected on the board.
