Stop OpenFrame underlining a name or word you use on purpose.

Beginner3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • The Writing tab is open.

Steps

  1. In the PERSONAL DICTIONARY card, click the Add a word box and type the word.

The card says: Words here are never underlined, in any project on this computer. Right-click an underlined word in the script to add it. A new dictionary says Your dictionary is empty. The Add button is greyed out until you type something. A word can be up to 64 characters.

  2. Click Add, or press Enter.

The word joins the list and a message at the bottom says Added “Rayapuram” to your dictionary. Click Dismiss to close the message. The box clears so you can add the next word.

  3. If you type something with no letter in it, such as 12345, the box turns red and the message A word needs at least one letter. appears. Type a real word.

The word is not added until it has at least one letter.

What you get

The word appears in the list and is never underlined in any project on this computer.

Watch out for

  • The dictionary belongs to this computer, not to one project. It does not travel with a project package.
