Screenplay

Write in Focus Mode

Hide everything but the page, and come back.

Beginner2 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A screenplay is open.

Steps

  1. Click View and more and choose Focus Mode.

Focus Mode is in LAYOUT with Standard Mode and Writing Room Mode.

  2. Write on the page. Click Exit Focus, or press Esc, to leave.

The toolbar, scene list, panels and the whole OpenFrame frame are hidden. A small box at the top right shows the draft name, Exit Focus and the save state.

What you get

You wrote with no distractions and are back in Standard Mode.

Watch out for

  • Esc leaves Focus Mode unless a dialog is open, in which case it closes the dialog first.
