Open a project that is not on the list, or bring back a project from a backup or package file.
Before you start
- You have a project, a Full Project Package (.ofproject) or a Backup Package (.ofbackup) on this computer, a disk or another PC.
Steps
To open a project that is not shown as a card, click Open Project (Ctrl+O) and pick it in the Windows window that opens.
A card on this page opens with one click, so Open Project is only for projects that are not listed. Projects end in .openframe.
To open a package or restore a backup, click Restore Backup or Package….
The tooltip says: Restore a backup or open a project package.
In the Open Project Package dialog, click Choose Package… and pick the file.
The dialog says: Open a Full Project Package or restore a Backup Package from another disk or PC. It accepts .ofproject (Full Project Package) and .ofbackup (Backup Package). The package is validated before anything is created. Cancel closes the dialog.
What you get
The project opens, or it is restored from the package.
Watch out for
- The package is checked before anything is created. If a file is not a valid package, choose a different file.
