FilesBring back a deleted file or folder
Restore something you removed from Files.
Before you start
- A file or folder was deleted less than 30 days ago.
Steps
Right after deleting, click Undo in the message.
The file returns to its folder at once.
If the message has gone, open Recently Deleted from the project menu. Find the file or folder, whose Was in column says Files, and click Restore.
The Recently Deleted tutorials explains the page. The item returns to its place, or to the top level if its folder no longer exists, and a message tells you where.
What you get
The file or folder is back in the Files list.
Watch out for
- After a folder is restored, its files are not moved back into it. They stay where they were put when the folder was deleted.
