Call sheetsFill in the practical and safety information
Record the emergency contact, transport, meals, safety and day notes.
Before you start
- A draft call sheet is open.
Steps
Scroll to the heading Production notes and find PRACTICAL / SAFETY INFORMATION.
This section is marked Review before issuing at its right. It opens with the card PRODUCTION EMERGENCY CONTACT, which reads Needs input until you fill it, followed by one nearest-hospital card per location.
Type the production emergency contact.
Use a name and a number someone can reach all day.
In the big card, fill in the lines you need: Parking, Meeting point, Transport, Meals, Toilets, Access and Safety.
All are optional. Meals may already say Lunch 13:00, taken from the schedule. The rows are single lines.
Type longer text in Special instructions, Production notes and Day notes.
These three are larger boxes. Day notes may already hold the note from the shooting day, for example Tower climb and rooftop, night shoot. Edit it freely: the change stays in the call sheet.
What you get
The safety and practical details are on the sheet for everyone to read.
Watch out for
- Production emergency contact reads Needs input until you fill it, but it does not stop you from finalizing. Fill it anyway, since the sheet is for people on a real shoot day.
