Call sheets

Finalize a sheet that needs a refresh

Decide between refreshing first and finalizing the version you prepared.

Intermediate3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A draft call sheet reads Needs refresh and its Crew call is filled in.

Steps

  1. Click Finalize… in the Source panel.

The banner is still shown because the schedule has changed since the sheet was prepared.

  2. Click Finalize in the dialog and read the warning that appears.

A yellow note says The schedule changed after this call sheet was prepared. Refresh it first, or finalize this version anyway. The button now reads Finalize this version anyway.

  3. To refresh first, click Cancel, and use Review Update. To finalize as it is, click Finalize this version anyway.

Finalizing anyway freezes the sheet as you prepared it, even though the schedule has moved on. The final sheet then reports the schedule change with a Start New Revision button.

What you get

You either refresh first or finalize knowingly.

Watch out for

  • Finalizing anyway can send the crew a sheet that no longer matches the schedule. Refresh first unless you are sure.
