Call sheets

Add weather, the advance schedule, walkie channels and special notes

Add the day-of logistics sections and fill them in.

Intermediate4 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A draft call sheet is open.

Steps

  1. Choose Weather from Add Section and type the Forecast, Sunrise and Sunset.

The section says Type the forecast, sunrise and sunset. OpenFrame never looks them up online. Forecast, Sunrise and Sunset each read Needs input until you type them. The picture shows a forecast typed in as an example.

  2. Choose Advance schedule and fill in the boxes.

The boxes are Day, Location, Cast, Props, Wardrobe and Preparation. Use it to tell the team what is coming next. Day reads Needs input until you fill it.

  3. Choose Walkie channels and contacts and fill in the boxes.

The boxes are Walkie channels, Emergency contact, Production contact and Note. All are optional.

  4. Choose Special notes and type your note in the large box.

Use it for anything that does not fit the other sections, such as a road closure or a safety briefing time. The section has a single text box.

What you get

The sheet carries the weather, the advance plan, the radio channels and any special notes under Production notes.

Watch out for

  • Weather is typed by you. Check the forecast yourself on the day before you send the sheet.
  • Press the x at the right of a section's heading to remove the section. See Remove a section.
