StoryMove cards, one or many
Put cards, beats and sequences where they belong, with a menu or with the selection bar.
Before you start
- The Beat Board has more than one card.
Steps
Control-click a card. Choose Move Up or Move Down to shift it within its sequence, or Move to Previous Act or Move to Next Act to shift it across acts.
You can also drag a card to a new place on the board. These menu items do the same job from the menu.
Select two or more cards. The picture shows two selected.
A bar appears reading 2 cards selected, with Move…, Duplicate, Park, Delete and Clear. Clear removes the selection without changing anything.
Click Move… in the selection bar. In the Move sheet, open the Destination menu.
The sheet is titled Move 2 items to… and says: Items are added at the end and keep their order. Cancel closes it.
Choose a destination, for example a sequence, then click Move.
The Destination menu lists the places you can move to. Sequences appear under their acts, with a small arrow before the name.
What you get
The cards are in their new place, in the same order as before.
Watch out for
- Cards you move are added at the end of the destination. Reorder them there if you need a different position.
