Settings

Open Settings and find the right tab

Open the Settings window and know which tab holds which setting.

Beginner4 stepsMac

Before you start

  • OpenFrame Studio is open.

Steps

  1. Click Settings on Application Home, or choose Settings from the OpenFrame Studio menu, or press Command+,.

The Settings window opens on General. It is a separate window, so your project stays open behind it. The tabs are General, Appearance, Keyboard Shortcuts, Storage, Offline AI and Diagnostics.

  2. Click Appearance to change the look of the app.

Mode and Theme live here. Each tab shows its own name in the title of the window.

  3. Click Keyboard Shortcuts to see and change keys.

The list covers 23 commands. You can search it, change keys and restore the defaults.

  4. Click Offline AI for OpenFrame AI's engine, health figures and memory, and Diagnostics for the support bundle.

Storage, the tab between them, shows where your library and projects are kept. Each has its own workflow below.

What you get

You know where each app setting lives.

Watch out for

  • Settings here are for the whole app. Title, status, spelling dictionary and breakdown colours belong to one project: see the Project Settings tutorials.
