SettingsChange your display name
Set the name that appears on your notes, comments and history.
Before you start
- The Settings window is open on General.
Steps
On General, look at the You card.
Display name shows your current name. Save Name is greyed out until you change the name. The note under it says: This name appears on your notes, comments and history in the projects you open.
Click the name, replace it with the name you want, then click Save Name.
The picture shows a new name typed in. Save Name is now ready. Until you click it, the old name is still the one in use.
What you get
Your new name is used on notes, comments and history from now on.
Watch out for
- The name is for you on this Mac. It is not an account and is not sent anywhere.
