SettingsCheck the offline AI and its health figures
See whether the offline AI is ready, export its health figures and review what OpenFrame AI remembers.
Before you start
- The Settings window is open.
Steps
Click Offline AI.
The first card shows the state beside the title, here Needs a reinstall. The text says OpenFrame AI runs on this computer after a one-time download, and that your project data is not sent to OpenFrame or to an AI cloud service. When the engine is missing, a red message says: Offline AI is missing from this installation, so it can't start. Reinstall OpenFrame Studio to repair it. Your projects were not changed. The card ends: OpenFrame works normally without OpenFrame AI.
Look at AI health.
Before you use OpenFrame AI it says: No requests yet. The figures appear after you use OpenFrame AI. Only numbers are kept on this computer: no questions, answers or project text. Nothing is sent.
To share the figures, click Export AI report… and choose where to save the file.
You decide whether to send the file to anyone.
Look at Assistant memory.
With no project open it says: Open a project to see what OpenFrame AI remembers in it. Memory is saved on this Mac, in the project, for you only, and only when you state a fact or confirm an answer. Delete an entry and OpenFrame AI forgets it.
What you get
You know the state of the offline AI and can export the figures.
Watch out for
- OpenFrame AI is optional. Every other part of the app works without it.
- If it says Needs a reinstall, reinstall OpenFrame Studio. Your projects are not changed.
