ScreenplayRename or delete a screenplay
Change a screenplay's name, or move a screenplay you no longer need to Recently Deleted.
Before you start
- The project has the screenplay you want to change.
Steps
Click the screenplay picker, choose Rename Screenplay…, change the Title and click Rename.
The sheet says: Only the name changes. Drafts and their text stay as they are. Cancel closes it without a change.
To delete, click the picker and choose Delete Screenplay…. Read the question, then click Delete Screenplay.
The screenplay and all its drafts move to Recently Deleted. They stay there for 30 days, and you can restore the screenplay with its drafts, locked drafts, scene numbers and page setup as they are now. If it is the only screenplay in the project, the sheet tells you that you can start a new one or restore this one later. Cancel keeps it.
What you get
The screenplay has its new name, or it is in Recently Deleted and can be restored for 30 days.
Watch out for
- Deleting is not permanent for 30 days. Open Recently Deleted to bring the screenplay back.
